“Wait! Sam said, running up the stairs in front of Wendy. She held her arms out, trying to block Wendy from passing. “You really don’t have to do that. You can just so it before we clean it.” Sam said, smiling a little.
But Sam didn’t stop Wendy and she watched hopelessly as her babysitter, that hatted anything being messy, open the door and make a less than enthusiastic face. “I told you.” Sam giggled. “Now, can we go on an adventure?”
Wendy frowned as she looked into the young girls room. “Samantha.” She said as she shook her head. “You’re mother lets you do these kinds of things to your room?” Wendy gawked some more at the messy room before turning to look down at the Sam.
“Fine.” She said after a moment, giving up on trying to me stern. “We can go on an adventure. But as soon as we return, you’re marching straight up here and cleaning this mess. You’re mother will kill both of us if this isn’t cleaned by the time she gets home.”
Wendy placed her hands on her hips and pursed her lips. “Most people in London don’t choose to simply walk around for the fun of it.” She eyed him some more before answering his question. “I’m heading home, actually.”
He took his hands from his pockets and crossed his arms. He smirked at the young girl, “Then I reckon I’m not like most people, aye? Oh, we haven’t done a proper introduction. I’m John. Now who might you be?”
Wendy smiled a little. “Hello John. I’m Wendy. It’s nice to meet you?” She stuck her hand out a little awkwardly for him to shake. “I’m sorry. I’m really bad with introductions.” Wendy laughed to herself a little.
Captain James Hook | Pirate| Age: (Up to Roleplayer) | FC: Daniel Craig | Status: OPEN
New ruler of Neverland. He is very prideful, conceded, and authoritative. He doesn’t care about the well-being of anyone but himself, and his right hand man, Smee. Even though he had finally driven Peter…
Wendy was casually walking down the street on her way home from a long day at work when she spotted a peculiar man walking in her direction. He looked lost, and Wendy could tell by the way he was dressed that he wasn’t from around here.
“Uhm, excuse me sir, do you need help finding anything? I couldn’t help but notice you look a little lost.” Wendy half smiled as she approached the man.
John walked through the unfamiliar streets. He had no recollection of how he got here or even where he was. He’d never seen buildings like this, or even people dressed the way they were. It was all so peculiar; nothing like home.
He turned as the young woman approached him, and moved his hand sword his sword, but grabbed onto nothing. His only weapon was gone and he was clearly outnumbered in the strange place. Maybe if he tried acting charming and pleasant, they wouldn’t kill him. Or perhaps, like he was always from around here.
“I look lost?” he questioned, and shrugged his shoulders. “Can’t say I know why. I grew up right here, on this street.”
Wendy watched as the man grabbed for nothing on his belt. She raised an eyebrow as she looked back up at him. “Right.” Wendy said in tone that was anything but convinced as she looked around at the businesses that surely weren’t fit to be a home. ”Where are you headed off to?”
He noticed her look as he grabbed at the air, and tried to shake it off bu putting him hands in his pocket. She wasn’t yet convinced, but he knew with a little more work, she would be. Afterall it’s much easier to lie than say you come from a world in the sky.
“Must I have a destination?” he asked. “Maybe I just enjoy walking down this.. This beautiful looking street. It’s peaceful, for the most part. I like it. Where are you off to?”
Wendy placed her hands on her hips and pursed her lips. “Most people in London don’t choose to simply walk around for the fun of it.” She eyed him some more before answering his question. “I’m heading home, actually.”
Samantha giggled at Wendy. “But, I hate cleaning my room.” She said, slightly whining. “Plus, no one goes into my room besides me anyways. So why should I clean it?”
Sam said goodbye to her mother as she left the house, then turned back to look at Wendy. “So can we just go on an adventure? Please?” she stuck out her bottom lip and made puppy dogs eyes. “Pleeeeease?”
Wendy waved as she shut the door behind Mrs. Wensley and placed her hands on her hips as she peered down at Sam. “Fine. But,” Wendy added sharply, “it must be cleaned before your parents get home tonight.” She placed her hand on top of Sams head and spun her around to face the stairs. “Just let me go asses the damage that I’m going to have to help you clean up before I make any promises.”
Sam had been upstairs in her room playing with some of her dolls when she heard a familiar voice followed by the front door closing downstairs. Sam smiled and put her dolls down before walking over to her slightly open door to hear what was going on downstairs. When she heard the voice again, she opened the door and went running down the stairs.
“Wendy!” Sam squealed as she ran into the young woman’s arms. “Are we going to go on an adventure today?” Sam asked as she let go of her favorite babysitter.
Wendy knocked on the door and waited for Mrs. Wensley to answer. She smiled when the woman opened the door. “Hello, Mrs. Wensley. How are you today?” The woman smiled and waved Wendy in before telling her about the day she had been having.
Wendy was about to ask where Sam was when she heard the little girl come running down the stairs. “Sam!” Wendy laughed as she bent to give the girl a hug. “Of course we’re going to go on an adventure today. Don’t we always? But first, I heard that you have clean your room?” Wendy raised an eyebrow and slyly smiled.
